So, we bought the beautiful Day of the Dead cake topper from Etsy, and I believe that will be our main cake topper. But with our desserts, we are going to have spaces for more than one cake topper, so I had to buy these love birds too, from the Etsy shop CountrySquirrelsRUs:

At $49, these were about twice the cost of our other cake topper, but I love them to bits and they are made in our wedding colors, too. (For what it’s worth, I consider this one of our “splurges,” because we could do without it.) I also think these birds will be very easy to display after the wedding, and I took that into consideration when buying them.

I’m excited to see both our cake toppers; they should be arriving in the mail in the next week or two!
